Prefixes: pre- and dis-

The prefix pre- means before. Preview means to view before (like a movie preview shows scenes before the movie). Preheat means to heat before (you preheat the oven before baking). Preschool means before school (the school you attend before elementary school). Pre- always points to something happening first!
