What Makes Something Alive? (PREK)

If you take a moment to look around you, you will notice so many living things! Look at the tall trees swaying gently in the breeze, listen to the cheerful birds chirping and flying high in the sky, and watch the playful dogs wagging their tails with joy. And guess what? You are a living thing too! Living things are truly special because they can do amazing things that non-living things, like rocks or toy cars, cannot do. For example, living things can grow taller, move around, and even change in different ways! Isn't that incredible? Every living thing has its own unique way of being alive, and that makes our world a wonderful place to explore and learn about!
