Tropical Zone
The tropical zone is a warm and lively area located close to the equator, where the sun shines brightly all year long. In this special region, temperatures are high, and there is plenty of rainfall, which creates the perfect conditions for beautiful and lush tropical rainforests. One of the most famous rainforests in the world, the Amazon rainforest, can be found in this zone. The equator itself is an imaginary line that runs around the middle of our planet, dividing it into two halves: the Northern Hemisphere, which is above the equator, and the Southern Hemisphere, which is below it. Learning about the tropical zone helps us understand the amazing variety of plants and animals that live in these warm climates, and why they are so important to our Earth.
