Cats Are Amazing Hunters

Cats can see in the dark SIX times better than humans! Their eyes have a special reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum — that is the thing that makes cat eyes glow in the dark when a light shines on them. Cats also have huge pupils that open very wide to let in more light. In dim light, a cat can spot a tiny mouse from across a room. Their ears can rotate like satellite dishes to pinpoint exactly where a sound is coming from!
