Dogs with Jobs

Some dogs have real jobs! Border Collies and Australian Shepherds are herding dogs — they help farmers move sheep and cattle by running around them in circles. They are SO smart that they understand hand signals from far away! German Shepherds are guard dogs and police dogs. They protect people and help find missing persons. Great Pyrenees are big white dogs that guard sheep from wolves by sleeping in the field with the flock all night!
