Feeding Time
The number one rule of feeding fish: do NOT overfeed! Fish have tiny tummies — about the size of their eye. Feed only what they can eat in 2 minutes, once or twice a day. Leftover food sinks to the bottom and rots, which makes the water dirty and smelly. Most pet fish eat flakes or small pellets. Some fish like bottom feeders eat sinking wafers. Bettas like freeze-dried bloodworms as a treat. A varied diet keeps fish healthy and colorful!
