Stockings and Santa Claus
In the United States and Canada, many families celebrate Christmas on December 25th. Children hang stockings by the fireplace and wait for Santa Claus to fill them with small gifts and treats. Families decorate a Christmas tree with ornaments, lights, and a star or angel on top. On Christmas morning, everyone gathers to open presents together!
