The Story of Diwali

Diwali celebrates an ancient story about a brave prince named Rama and his wife, Princess Sita. A mean demon king named Ravana kidnapped Sita and took her far away to his island kingdom. Rama was very sad, but he was also very brave. He set out on a long journey to rescue Sita with the help of his brother Lakshmana and an army of monkeys led by the mighty Hanuman.
