The Story of Hanukkah

Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday that happened because of a very old story. A long, long time ago, a group of brave people called the Maccabees fought to protect their temple, which was a very special place where they prayed. They won the battle and wanted to celebrate by lighting the temple's special lamp, called a menorah.
