A New Question: Does Amount Matter?
You already know that red and yellow make orange. But what if you use a LOT of red and only a tiny bit of yellow? Will you still get the same orange?
This is a great science question! Scientists are always asking what if questions. What if I change one thing? Will I get a different result?
When scientists change one thing in an experiment to see what happens, that thing is called a variable. In this experiment, your variable is the amount of each color you use.
Let us predict: if you use more red than yellow, do you think the orange will look more red or more yellow? Think about it before we test!
