Three Bears, Three Sizes
Once upon a time, there were three bears: Papa Bear was BIG, Mama Bear was MEDIUM, and Baby Bear was SMALL. Everything in their house came in three sizes!
Papa Bear had a big chair. Mama Bear had a medium chair. Baby Bear had a small chair. The bowls were the same way: big, medium, and small. Even the beds: big, medium, and small.
When we compare sizes, we use special words. Papa Bear's chair is BIGGER than Mama Bear's chair. Baby Bear's chair is SMALLER than Mama Bear's chair. Papa Bear's chair is the BIGGEST of all. Baby Bear's chair is the SMALLEST of all.
