Seeds Are Everywhere!
Every plant in the world started as a tiny seed! Seeds come in all shapes and sizes. Sunflower seeds are small, flat, and striped. Avocado seeds are as big as a golf ball! Coconuts are actually giant seeds. Dandelion seeds are so light and fluffy they float on the wind.
Seeds hide inside fruits, vegetables, and flowers. When you eat a watermelon, those black things you spit out are seeds! When you eat an apple, the seeds are hiding in the core. Even the strawberry has tiny seeds on the OUTSIDE of the fruit β about 200 of them!
Every single seed is like a tiny package that holds a baby plant inside, waiting for the right moment to grow.
