Doubles With 1 and 2

Doubles are special addition facts where you add a number to itself. Think of it like looking in a mirror — whatever you see, there is an exact copy! When we say 1 plus 1, we are putting one thing with one more thing that is exactly the same. That gives us 2. When we say 2 plus 2, we are putting two things with two more things. That gives us 4.
