2+3 and 3+2

Another great way to make 5 is 2 plus 3. Picture 2 apples on a plate and 3 oranges beside them. Count all the fruit: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. You have 5 pieces of fruit! On a five-frame, put 2 counters in the first two spots and 3 counters in the last three spots. The frame is full!
