Balloon Breath
Imagine you are blowing up a big, beautiful balloon! Cup your hands in front of your mouth like you are holding a tiny balloon.
Breathe in through your nose... then slowly blow out through your mouth, making your hands move apart like the balloon is getting bigger... and BIGGER... and BIGGER!
Now pretend to pop the balloon and let all the air whoosh out! Let your arms flop down and feel how relaxed your body is.
Balloon breath is perfect for when you feel angry or frustrated. The slow blowing helps you release all those big, tough feelings. You can imagine blowing your worries INTO the balloon and then letting them float away!
