Your Body Talks to You!
Did you know your body sends you signals when you are having big feelings? It is like having a built-in alarm system!
When you feel ANGRY: your face gets hot, your hands make fists, your jaw clenches tight, and your muscles feel stiff.
When you feel SCARED: your tummy feels funny (butterflies!), your heart beats fast, your hands get sweaty, and you might feel shaky.
When you feel SAD: your chest feels heavy, your shoulders droop down, you might get a lump in your throat, and your eyes might sting with tears.
These body signals are not bad β they are just your body saying 'Hey! Something big is happening!' Learning to notice them is the first step to calming down.
