Snake Breath β Hissssss!
Time for a fun new breath β snake breath! Imagine you are a long, slithery snake sunbathing on a warm rock.
Breathe in through your nose nice and slow. Fill up your belly. Now breathe out through your mouth and make a long hissing sound: 'Hisssssssssss!' Make the hiss last as long as you can!
The longer your hiss, the slower your breathing, and the calmer you feel. Try to make your hiss last for 6 or 7 counts. Can you make it last for 10?
Snake breath is great for slowing down when you feel hyper or wild. The hissing sound gives your brain something to focus on, which helps busy thoughts quiet down. Plus, it is really fun to do!
