You Are a Composer!
A composer is someone who creates music. And guess what? You are about to become a composer by creating your very own melody!
A melody does not have to be complicated. Even three notes in a row make a melody. The simplest melodies can be the most beautiful — think of how simple 'Twinkle, Twinkle' is, and it is one of the most famous melodies in the world!
To compose a melody, you just need to decide:
1. How many notes will it have? (Start with 4-8 notes)
2. Will each note be high, middle, or low?
3. What rhythm will the notes have? (Long or short?)
That is it! You make these three decisions and you have a melody. Let us try it together.
