Every piece of music has a beat. The beat is the steady pulse that keeps the music moving forward, like a heartbeat for the song!
Put your hand on your chest. Can you feel your heart going thump, thump, thump? That is a steady beat! Your heart beats at the same speed over and over without stopping.
