Helping Mom Bake

Today is a special day. Mia and Mom are baking cookies! First, they wash their hands. Next, Mom gets a big bowl. Mia puts in the flour. Mom adds the sugar. They stir and stir. Then Mia cracks an egg. Oops! A little shell falls in. Mom picks it out. They mix in chocolate chips. Mia puts round balls of dough on the pan. Mom puts the pan in the oven. They wait and wait. Ding! The cookies are done. Mia and Mom eat warm cookies together. Yum!
