Before you read a book, you can take a picture walk! A picture walk means looking at all the pictures in a book BEFORE you read the words. You flip through the pages and look at each picture. You ask yourself: What do I see? What do I think this story is about? Who are the characters? Where does the story happen? A picture walk gets your brain ready to read!
