Reading Feelings in Pictures

You can tell how someone feels by looking at their face! A big smile means happy. Tears mean sad. Wide eyes mean surprised or scared. A frown means unhappy or angry. Crossed arms might mean frustrated. In books, illustrators draw characters' faces carefully to show their feelings. When you do a picture walk, look at the faces!
