The Backwards Day

One morning, Zara woke up and everything was backwards! She put her shoes on her hands. She put her gloves on her feet. She walked backwards to the kitchen. Dad was making breakfast. But wait — he was cooking pancakes with a tennis racket! Mom poured orange juice into a shoe. 'Good night!' said Mom. (She meant good morning!) The dog meowed. The cat barked. The fish climbed a tree! Zara laughed and laughed. 'This is the silliest day ever!' Then she blinked her eyes. Everything was normal again. It was all a dream! But what a funny dream it was.
