The Monster Who Was Scared

Gus is a big, green monster. He has sharp teeth and furry arms. But Gus has a secret. He is scared of everything! He is scared of spiders. He is scared of the dark. He is even scared of kittens! One night, a little girl named Rosa looked under her bed. She saw Gus. 'AHHH!' screamed Gus. 'AHHH!' screamed Rosa. They both jumped! Then Rosa started to laugh. 'You're a monster and YOU'RE scared?' Gus nodded. 'Spiders are creepy!' Rosa smiled. 'I'm scared of spiders too!' They became best friends. Every night, they checked under the bed together. No spiders allowed!
