The Hungry Caterpillar

Pop! The tiny caterpillar chews its way out of the egg. It is so small — about the size of a grain of rice! But this little caterpillar has a very big job: EAT! The caterpillar starts munching on leaves right away. Crunch, crunch, crunch! It eats and eats and eats. A caterpillar can eat a whole leaf in one day! All that food helps the caterpillar grow bigger and bigger.
