Magnet Shapes and Strengths

Magnets come in many shapes! Bar magnets are shaped like a rectangle — they are the most common. Horseshoe magnets are shaped like the letter U — both poles are close together, making them extra strong! Ring magnets are shaped like donuts. Disc magnets are flat and round like coins. Button magnets are tiny and go on your fridge. No matter what shape a magnet is, it ALWAYS has a North pole and a South pole!
