Big Forces and Small Forces

Not all pushes and pulls are the same! A gentle push on a swing makes it sway a little. A strong push makes it fly high! A small tug on a rope does not move much. A big pull drags a heavy sled forward! The bigger the force, the bigger the change. If you kick a soccer ball softly, it rolls a short way. If you kick it hard, it zooms across the field!
