Testing and Predicting

Real scientists do not just test things randomly — they PREDICT first! A prediction is your best guess about what will happen. Before you drop something in water, think: 'Will it sink or float?' Look at the object. Is it heavy for its size? What is it made of? Does it have air inside? Use what you have already learned to make a smart prediction. Then test it! Sometimes you will be right and sometimes you will be surprised!
