Precipitation — Water Falls Down!

When a cloud gets so full of water droplets that it cannot hold any more, the water falls back down to Earth! This is called precipitation! Pre-sip-i-TA-tion. The most common type of precipitation is RAIN! Raindrops form when tiny cloud droplets bump into each other and stick together, getting bigger and bigger until they are too heavy to float. Then they fall down — plop, plop, plop!
