The Spanish word for mom is mamá! It sounds like mah-MAH. This is one of the easiest Spanish words because it sounds almost the same as mama in English! Mamá is the person who takes care of you, reads you stories, and gives you hugs. In many Spanish-speaking countries, children also say mami, which is like saying mommy. Say it with love: mamá!
