Chicken and Rice

The Spanish word for chicken is pollo! It sounds like POH-yoh. Remember, the double L in Spanish makes a Y sound, just like in caballo. Chicken is eaten in almost every country in the world. Pollo con arroz (chicken with rice) is a classic dish. Pollo asado means roasted chicken. If you like chicken nuggets, you could call them nuggets de pollo!
