Two Steps, Two Actions
A two-step direction tells you TWO things to do. You need to do them in the right order!
Example: 'First, pick up your pencil. Then, write your name.'
Step 1: Pick up your pencil.
Step 2: Write your name.
You cannot write your name if you have not picked up your pencil first! The first step makes the second step possible.
