One Thing at a Time
A direction is when someone tells you what to do. Directions help you know what comes next! A one-step direction tells you ONE thing to do. For example:
β’ 'Please stand up.'
β’ 'Pick up the red crayon.'
β’ 'Wave your hand.'
When you hear a one-step direction, you only need to do one thing. Easy! Listen carefully, think about what was said, then do it.
