Setting Up Your Workspace
Before you start working, set up your desk! Think about WHAT you need for the task.
If you are doing a writing activity, you need: a pencil, an eraser, and your paper. You do NOT need crayons, scissors, or glue right now.
Put only what you need on your desk. Everything else stays in your desk or cubby. A clear desk helps your brain focus because there is less to look at and get distracted by.
