Typing My Name

Your name starts with a CAPITAL letter (a big letter). To type a capital letter, you need to use a special key called SHIFT.

The SHIFT key is on both sides of the keyboard, near the bottom. Here is how to make a capital letter:

1. HOLD DOWN the shift key with one hand.

2. Press the letter key with your other hand.

3. Let go of both keys.

Now you have a capital letter! The rest of the letters in your name are lowercase — just press the keys normally.
