Pictures Are Stories!
Did you know that every picture tells a story? When you draw a picture of your family at the park, that IS a story! The people in your drawing are the characters. The park is the setting. And what they are doing is the action.
Long before people could write, they drew pictures on cave walls to tell stories about hunts, animals, and their lives. Drawing is one of the oldest ways humans have shared stories!
