Think of Your Story
The best stories come from YOUR life! Think about something fun that happened to you. Maybe you went to the park, had a birthday party, played with a friend, or saw something cool.
Close your eyes and picture it in your mind. What do you see? Who was there? What colors do you remember? What sounds did you hear? What did it feel like?
Now you are ready to draw! Start with the biggest, most important thing in your story. If your story is about playing at the park, draw the playground first. Then add the people and the details around it.
Remember: there is no wrong way to draw! Stick figures are great. Simple shapes are great. What matters is that YOUR story is in the picture.
