Time Allocation and Question Skipping Strategy
A 170+ score requires answering approximately 93-95 of the 99-101 questions correctly. This means you can afford to miss only 5-8 questions total across all sections. Time management is therefore about minimizing time lost to hard questions that you eventually get wrong anyway. In LR, hard questions (those you take more than 2 minutes on) should be skipped and returned to at the end of the section. Mark them clearly and return with any remaining time. In AR, the game order matters β do the easiest game first (usually one with the most concrete rules), then the second easiest, then save the hardest game for last. Never allocate equal time to unequal games. In RC, the comparative passage is typically hardest β most test-takers answer it last.
