Chickens
Chickens are amazing animals that live in a cozy coop on the farm. They have a special home where they can stay safe and warm. The female chickens, called hens, are very important because they lay eggs every day. These eggs are what we eat for breakfast! Isn’t that cool? The baby chickens are called chicks, and they are so cute! They are covered in soft, fluffy feathers that are usually a bright yellow color. When morning comes, the male chickens, known as roosters, help wake everyone up with their loud and cheerful sound, 'cock-a-doodle-doo!' Chickens are not only fun to watch, but they also help us by giving us delicious eggs. They are such friendly and interesting animals to have on a farm!
