These terms govern the Koydo Scholarship Program — applying for a scholarship and sponsoring one. Koydo LLC is a for-profit company; this is a company commitment to learner access, not a charitable foundation.
The Koydo Scholarship Program provides free, full Koydo Plus access to learners for whom cost is the barrier to a great education. It is a commitment by Koydo LLC, a for-profit company — not a charitable foundation — and sponsorships are not tax-deductible.
Open to learners and families who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia.
Applicants in underserved areas — where household income, school resources, or local cost make Koydo Plus unaffordable — are prioritized. Koydo reviews need in good faith and may request reasonable verification.
One active scholarship per household. A learner under 18 must be entered by a parent or legal guardian, who is the account holder. There is no fee to apply, ever.
Employees of Koydo and their immediate households are not eligible to receive scholarships.
Scholarships are funded two ways: (1) self-funded — for every ten Koydo subscriptions, Koydo funds one scholarship at its own expense, subject to these terms and verified paid subscriptions; and (2) sponsored — anyone may sponsor learner access. Both provide the same scholarship.
Applications are reviewed by Koydo's scholarship team in good faith based on stated need and eligibility. Awards are made as capacity allows; meeting the criteria does not guarantee an award. Koydo may verify information and may decline or revoke awards for ineligibility, fraud, or misuse.
A scholarship provides the then-current full Koydo Plus access package, issued in renewable semester blocks and subject to age, safety, regional availability, and product terms. Access is non-transferable and has no cash value. Scholarships may be renewed on review and may be paused or ended consistent with these terms.
Sponsorships are processed by our third-party payment processor. 100% of net — your payment minus only the unavoidable processing fee (and any refunds or chargebacks) — funds learner access; Koydo takes no administrative or overhead cut. Sponsorships are not earmarked to a specific named individual.
Sponsorships are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. You will receive an emailed receipt. Refunds of any amount not yet allocated to a learner are available within 14 days by emailing support@koydo.app; chargebacks revoke the associated grant.
The Program and sponsorships are offered where permitted and are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Where a state requires registration to solicit, Koydo complies or does not offer sponsorships in that state. Nothing here is an offer where unlawful.
Koydo collects only what it needs to run the Program and your account, and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. For learners under 13, Koydo obtains verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information and minimizes what it collects (region-level, not precise address). See the Koydo Privacy Policy. Records are retained only as long as needed and then deleted.
Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other status protected by law.
Koydo may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where prohibited. Questions: support@koydo.app; Koydo LLC, 940 W FM 544, Suite 332, Wylie, TX 75098.
