Spark Awards — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Spark Awards are sponsored by Koydo LLC, 940 W FM 544, Suite 332, Wylie, TX 75098, USA (the Sponsor).

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, except Rhode Island. Residents of Rhode Island are not eligible. Each eligible entrant must be able to provide a US street address accepted for delivery by Apple’s US online store; Apple does not ship to P.O. Box addresses and does not ship directly to APO/FPO addresses, so a P.O. Box or APO/FPO/DPO address cannot be used to receive a prize.
• Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• A learner under 18 may take part only when a parent or legal guardian enters on the learner's behalf; the parent or guardian is the official entrant and the recipient of any prize.
• Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate families and households are not eligible.
• Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Promotion Period

Cycle 1 runs from November 1, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. through January 29, 2027, at 11:59:59 p.m. America/Chicago time. Each later award cycle will run for 90 days, with its exact start and end date and time posted in the app and on the Spark Awards page before entries open; that schedule forms part of these Official Rules. The Sponsor may add, pause, or end future cycles at its discretion.

4. How to Enter

To enter online during an open cycle, the learner associated with a Lucky Learner entry must meet that category’s requirement, and the official entrant must submit the entry using Enter Now. Before each cycle opens, the Sponsor will post the category requirements, online-entry steps, and entry allocations on the Spark Awards page; those cycle-specific details form part of these Official Rules. The categories and thresholds are posted in each cycle listing; for Cycle 1 they are: Lucky Learner (the learner completes 5 lessons during the cycle; 1 entry) and Study Buddy (1 entry for each referred family whose adult creates a Koydo account during the cycle through the official entrant’s personal referral link, up to 10 entries per cycle). Entries (Spark Tickets) are earned for free and are the entries counted toward each per-category cap. Referrals are made only by the adult official entrant (a parent or legal guardian) sharing their personal referral link; the Sponsor never asks a learner for a friend’s name or contact information, and a referral counts only when the referred family’s adult creates a Koydo account through that link, with no purchase required. No payment is required to earn or submit entries. Additional categories may be added in a future cycle only by updated Official Rules posted before that cycle opens.

Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): Free Alternate Method of Entry, in brief: mail one request per calendar month while a cycle is open; no purchase is needed and the entrant pays only postage. How to mail: hand-print the official entrant’s full name, mailing address, email address, and the phrase Koydo Spark Awards Entry on a 3-by-5-inch card and mail it in one outer envelope to Koydo LLC, 940 W FM 544, Suite 332, Wylie, TX 75098, USA. No entry fee is charged. What a request gives: (1) for the cycle categories, it brings the entrant’s entries up to, but not above, the same per-category maximum available through any other method (for Cycle 1, 1 Lucky Learner entry and 10 Study Buddy entries); (2) for the Monthly Spark drawing of the month in which it is postmarked, it brings the entrant’s entries up to, but not above, the monthly maximum of 11. Deadlines: a cycle-category request must be postmarked on or after the cycle’s posted start date and no later than its posted end date (the same last day on which online entries can be submitted), and received within 10 days after the end date. The Sponsor will not conduct that cycle’s drawings until after this receipt period closes. For Monthly Spark, a request counts for the calendar month in which it is postmarked. For November 2026, it must be postmarked November 1–7, 2026. For each later month, it must be postmarked by the last calendar day of that month while a cycle is open, or by the cycle’s posted end date if earlier. It must be received within 10 days after that applicable monthly postmark cutoff, and the Sponsor will not conduct that month’s Monthly Spark drawing until after this receipt period closes. The same caps apply to every entry method.

Every entry in a random-draw category has the same chance of being drawn, however it was earned or requested. A participant may earn additional entries through the activities described on the Spark Awards page or request them by mail, up to the same per-cycle maximum, and no purchase or subscription increases that maximum or the chance of any entry.

5. Koydo+ and Entries

Koydo+ is a paid subscription sold for its learning value (additional learning capacity and features). A Koydo+ subscription confers no advantage in the prize draws.

A Koydo+ subscription is never required to enter or win and does not improve the odds of any entry. Free online entries are available through the category activity described in these rules: completing five lessons for Lucky Learner or qualifying adult-to-adult referrals for Study Buddy, subject to each published per-category cap. The Free Alternate Method of Entry also allows an entrant to reach the same per-category maximum, and the same monthly maximum in the Monthly Spark draw; the entrant is responsible for postage.

6. Entry Limits

Before each cycle opens, the Sponsor will post the per-category entry caps for that cycle on the Spark Awards page; that cycle-specific listing is incorporated into and forms part of these Official Rules, and the same caps apply to every entry method, including the Free Alternate Method of Entry. A participant may win no more than one iPad prize in any 90-day period across both categories. Monthly Spark gift cards are not counted toward that limit; a participant may win no more than one Monthly Spark gift card per calendar month. Once a cycle opens, its posted listing (categories, thresholds, entry caps and allocations, prizes, ARVs and dates) is fixed for that cycle and changes only as permitted under General Conditions; the Sponsor keeps a dated archived copy of each posted listing for the record and for resolving disputes.

7. Winner Selection & Odds

At the close of each cycle, the Sponsor will select iPad winners in this order: Lucky Learner, then Study Buddy. For each selection, an entrant is eligible to win only if they have not won an iPad prize during the 90 days immediately preceding that selection and have not already been selected for an iPad prize in that cycle. A selected entrant is excluded from the later iPad selection in the cycle. Monthly Spark gift-card wins do not count toward the iPad prize limit and do not affect eligibility for an iPad draw. In each category, the winner is selected at random from that category’s entries belonging to entrants then eligible to win. If no entrant eligible to win remains for a category, no prize is awarded in that category. Decisions of the Sponsor are final.

Odds of winning an iPad in either category or a Monthly Spark prize depend on the number of eligible entries in the applicable drawing. Each eligible entry has an equal chance of being selected; an entrant with more eligible entries has a proportionally greater chance, subject to the one-prize-per-person limits in these Rules.

8. Prizes

In each cycle, one Apple iPad (A16, 128GB, Wi‑Fi) will be awarded in each of the two categories, Lucky Learner and Study Buddy, provided at least one entrant is eligible to win in that category. If no entrant is eligible to win in a category, no prize is awarded in that category. Each cycle’s iPad ARV is fixed and stated in that cycle’s posted listing. Each iPad is ordered by the Sponsor from Apple’s US online store and delivered by Apple to the winner’s shipping address, so a winner must provide a US street address accepted for delivery by Apple’s US online store. Before a cycle opens and before any entry is accepted, the Sponsor will post the prize description and applicable ARV for each category on the Spark Awards page. That cycle-specific listing is incorporated into these Official Rules. No entries will be accepted until the listing is posted. The iPad prize is the listed Apple iPad (A16, 128GB, Wi‑Fi); no other model will be awarded, except as follows. If Apple refuses or cancels a prize order, the Sponsor will award the same model purchased from another U.S. authorized Apple retailer, or, if that is not possible, an Apple Gift Card (or Gift Cards) for the prize’s posted ARV. The same applies to a Monthly Spark gift-card order that Apple refuses or cancels: the Sponsor will obtain Apple Gift Cards of the same value from another U.S. authorized seller. There is no cash alternative, and prizes are not redeemable for cash. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, the Spark Awards. Apple, iPad and Apple Gift Card are trademarks of Apple Inc.

The Sponsor caps the total approximate retail value of all prizes awarded in any calendar year, counted by award date (cycle prizes count in the year the cycle closes), including iPads and Monthly Spark gift cards, at $4,500 and will not offer a cycle or month that would cause that total to exceed $4,500. If a change in retail prices means the next prize to be posted would push the calendar-year total over $4,500, the Sponsor will reduce that month’s Monthly Spark gift-card value, and post the reduced value before that month opens, so the cap is never exceeded; iPad prizes keep priority, and a month’s Monthly Spark prize may be reduced to zero (not offered), which will be posted before that month opens. If, even with no Monthly Spark prize, a cycle’s iPad prizes at their posted ARV would push the total over $4,500, the Sponsor will not open that cycle; entries already accepted in an open cycle are not affected, because each cycle’s ARVs are fixed when its listing is posted. The $4,500 amount is a calendar-year prize-value cap; it does not by itself establish whether any promotion must be registered or bonded under applicable law.

Monthly Spark Draw: In each calendar month that falls wholly or partly within an open cycle, the Sponsor will post the Monthly Spark amount for that month before the month begins, up to $75. If the posted amount is $0, no Monthly Spark prize or drawing is offered for that month. For a month other than November 2026 with a posted amount greater than $0, the Sponsor will award one prize consisting of one or more Apple Gift Cards with a combined ARV equal to that amount. The drawing takes place after the month ends and includes all eligible Lucky Learner and Study Buddy entries earned in that month while a cycle was open, plus mail-in requests postmarked in that month. The winner is selected at random from the eligible entries in that drawing, subject to the one-prize-per-person limits in these Rules. Each official entrant may have no more than 11 entries in a Monthly Spark drawing. One valid mail-in request per official entrant per month, prepared and mailed as described for the Free Alternate Method of Entry (a cycle request under that method counts as the request for the month in which it is postmarked; a request sent only for Monthly Spark is marked Monthly Spark Entry with the month), provides 11 entries in that month’s drawing when a drawing is offered. For that drawing only, those 11 mail-in entries replace, and are not added to, any Lucky Learner or Study Buddy entries the entrant earned that month; those earned entries remain valid for iPad draws. For November 2026, the posted Monthly Spark amount is $75. Instead of, and not in addition to, the ordinary one-winner monthly drawing, the Sponsor will hold one drawing after November ends and award up to three $25 Apple Gift Card prizes to up to three distinct winners selected at random only from eligible entries earned and Monthly Spark mail-in requests postmarked from November 1 through November 7, 2026. Entries earned and mail-in requests postmarked after November 7 are not eligible for that drawing. If fewer than three distinct eligible entrants are available, prizes will be awarded to as many distinct eligible entrants as possible, one prize per person; any remaining prizes will not be awarded. A person may win no more than one of these three prizes. The gift card or cards are delivered electronically by Apple to the winner’s email address and are usable only for US purchases from Apple. General eligibility, parent-or-guardian entry for learners under 18, notification, tax, and Texas-law terms apply. Monthly Spark is separate from the iPad prize limit: winning an iPad does not bar a Monthly Spark win, and winning a Monthly Spark gift card does not bar an iPad win. A person may win no more than one Monthly Spark prize per calendar month. If no eligible entry is received for a month, no gift card is awarded.

9. Winner Notification & Claim

Potential winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days after selection, using the email address on the Koydo account or, for an entrant who entered by mail without an account, the email address provided with the mailed request. A potential winner must respond and provide any requested eligibility verification, affidavit, or release within five (5) calendar days after the notice is sent. If the notice is undeliverable, the potential winner does not respond in time, or requested documents are not timely provided, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate may be selected in the same manner as the original selection.

10. Taxes

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. Where required by law, the Sponsor will collect a completed Form W-9 and issue a Form 1099 for prizes meeting the applicable reporting threshold.

11. Privacy & Children

Information submitted is used only to administer the Spark Awards and the participant's Koydo account. For learners under 13, the Sponsor obtains verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information, consistent with COPPA. See the Koydo Privacy Policy.

12. General Conditions

• The Sponsor may add, pause, or end future cycles. A cycle that is already open may be modified, suspended, or cancelled only if fraud, technical failure, or another event compromises its integrity or administration; any change will be posted and will not retroactively alter entry methods or odds or materially disadvantage entrants.
• By entering, participants release the Sponsor from any liability arising from participation or the award, acceptance, or use of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

13. Winners List

To request a winners list for a completed cycle or any Monthly Spark drawing, mail a written request to the Sponsor address above within 90 days after the relevant cycle closes or the relevant month ends, respectively.

Cycle 1 Listing

This listing is posted under the Official Rules before Cycle 1 opens and forms part of the Official Rules for Cycle 1. No entries are accepted before the cycle opens.

Cycle 1 opens November 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM CDT and closes January 29, 2027 at 11:59 PM CST. Online entries must be submitted, and mail-in requests received, while the cycle is open and before its posted end date and time.

Entry caps (per official entrant, per cycle)

• Lucky Learner: up to 1 entry per official entrant for this cycle, by all entry methods combined.
• Study Buddy: up to 10 entries per official entrant for this cycle, by all entry methods combined.

Study Buddy referral allocation: 1 entry for each referred family whose adult creates a Koydo account during the cycle through the official entrant’s personal referral link, up to 10 entries for this cycle. No purchase or subscription is required of either family.

Mail-in alternate method of entry (AMOE; no entry fee; entrant pays postage): Each official entrant may submit one request per cycle. One valid mail-in request receives the per-category maximum in each random-draw category (Lucky Learner, Study Buddy) — the same maximum available through all other entry methods combined. Mail-in and online entries count toward the same cap and are never added together beyond it.

Prizes and approximate retail value (ARV)

• Apple iPad (A16, 128GB, Wi‑Fi): one prize is offered in each category (2 total prizes offered this cycle), ordered by the Sponsor from Apple’s US online store for delivery to the winner’s eligible US street address. See the Official Rules if Apple refuses or cancels an order. ARV: $449 each.
• Monthly Spark: Ordinarily, in each calendar month (November 2026, December 2026, January 2027) during an open cycle for which a positive prize amount is posted, one prize consisting of Apple Gift Card(s) totaling that amount (up to $75) is drawn at random after that month from its eligible Lucky Learner and Study Buddy entries and mail-in requests. If $0 is posted, no Monthly Spark prize or drawing is offered for that month. For November 2026, instead of the ordinary one-winner monthly drawing, the Monthly Spark drawing awards up to three $25 Apple Gift Card prizes to up to three distinct winners, drawn from eligible entries earned during November 1–7 and valid monthly mail-in requests postmarked November 1–7. If fewer than three distinct eligible entrants are available, prizes are awarded to as many distinct eligible entrants as possible, one prize per person; remaining prizes are not awarded. The amount may be lower in other months to stay within the calendar-year prize cap and is posted before that month opens. Gift cards are delivered electronically. See the Official Rules if Apple refuses or cancels an order. Up to 11 entries per official entrant per month across all methods; one valid monthly mail-in request provides 11 entries and replaces, rather than adds to, that entrant’s online entries in the Monthly Spark drawing (those online entries still count in the iPad draws).
• Launch-week bonus for November 2026: instead of the ordinary one-winner monthly drawing, up to three distinct winners each receive one $25 Apple Gift Card (up to $75 total), drawn at random from eligible entries earned, and monthly mail-in requests postmarked, from November 1, 2026 through November 7, 2026. If fewer than three distinct eligible entrants are available, prizes are awarded to as many as possible, one per person; remaining prizes are not awarded.

Total ARV of cycle prizes at the values currently posted: $1,123. Monthly Spark values are posted before each calendar month opens and may be lower than $75 to stay within the annual cap.
